The  journey to start Joy Paper Co. started back in 2019 when I went on (what was supposed to be) a quick errand, but ended up spending almost an hour looking through just about every card for a friend's birthday. If it was cute, there was a good chance that it was 7-8 bucks. But all I wanted was a decent card that didn't break the bank.

Long story short, I caved and bought the $7 card BUT I went home and got to thinking... there had to be a better solution.

The outcome? Joy Paper Co. High quality greeting cards, paper goods and gifts that help you get (and give) more for your money. No more hours of searching for a good enough card or giving up on cards or thoughtful gifts altogether. Let me help you become that thoughtful friend you've always wanted to be through paper goods and gifts that give back.

How do we give back? 

We donate a portion of our proceeds to to support mental health research and awareness. But I didn't want to just stop there. I'm also very passionate about supporting my fellow US based businesses and we work very hard to ensure every product that you'll find on this website is manufactured here in the USA.

Maybe you're wondering why I choose to support mental health with a portion of the proceeds? Personally I have had many encounters with mental health issues amongst family, friends and myself at times, just like you probably have as well. I realized that mental health is something that's a part of every person's life, whether good or bad. It's a topic that I'm tired of tip toeing around and want to create an open community that works towards ending the stigma. Living with intention and letting the people in your life know that you care, whether it be through writing a card, giving them a call / text, or whatever showing up for them looks like for you, is the heartbeat and mission behind Joy Paper Co.
